Research Papers

The SFHM Research Paper series has been designed to provide an avenue to document aspects of early lumbering, sawmill town life, and forestry that have shaped the economy and culture of the South. These do not pretend to be of major scientific importance, but do provide important information about people, towns, and development of forestry practices during the time and contribute to a better understanding of our southern heritage. If you would like to contribute information for an article, contact us at director@forestheritagemuseum.org.
